The 16th Annual Orange Car And Truck Show Will Be Held October 2, 2016
Sponsored By G Force Motorsports
The Pyramid Shriners Car Club was founded in the spring of 2001 by a group of antique and classic car enthusiasts from the Pyramid Shrine Temple in Milford, CT.
From its founding, the mail goals of the club have been to promote the antique and classic car hobby, camaraderie with other car people, sponsor an annual car show and support the Shriners organization in their various philanthropic endeavors. The first Pyramid Shriners Car Club Car Show was held on the first Sunday in October of 2001, with about 300 cars in attendance. This show and all shows since 2001 have been held at the Orange Fairgrounds in Orange, Connecticut. In 2002, the club was fortunate to receive the support and sponsorship of Will Anjone and his business, G-Force Motorsports, LLC., of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Through the efforts of the membership and the G-Force sponsorship, and countless volunteers, our car shows now average 800 cars in attendance. Visit the G-Force website here.
The Pyramid Shriners Car Club Car Shows not only feature cars and trucks, but we also try to feature other attractions for participants and spectator entertainment. In the past we have featured Monster Trucks, Funny Cars, Drag Racers, Vehicle Dynamometer, and big name celebrities. For the 2007 Car Show, Dennis Gage of Speed Channel’s “My Classic Car” featured our event on his television show. The club drew over 1400 cars for the 2007 show.
